MEMBERSHIP
at Petaluma Valley Athletic Club is not essential to study Pilates at CAPPS. You may take private, duet, trio lessons, or group classes with us as a guest. Please call the Front Desk for non-member prices.


INITIAL EVALUATION AND PROGRAM DESIGN is the first step for a safe, effective program. We take your blood pressure & resting heart rate, get a basic strength & flexibility profile, plus perform a sub-maximal cardiovascular response and recovery test. This information helps us set short and long-term goals that fit your needs. After this, all new members are introduced to a phase I cardio, Pilates routine.                                                                        $65

Private / Duet / Trio lessons
are one on one lessons specifically targeting your individual needs and goals, which maximizes your results. Workout with one or two partners regularly to increase your motivation, enjoy camaraderie and save money.

PILATES JUMPSTART PACKAGE includes Initial Evaluation & Program Design + 5 Private Lessons

This six (6) lesson private series begins with the Initial Evaluation & Program Design, plus five (5) lessons which introduce you to the basic Pilates routines on the main pieces of equipment. Complete the series and get cleared to work out on your own, or jump into group classes, or keep taking private instruction.                                                                  $390

SELF-DIRECTED WORKOUTS (SDW)
enable you to reach your fitness goals and appreciate The Pilates Method at its deepest level. Once you learn your baseline routine you are encouraged to workout independently. Complimentary, once you've been cleared.


MAT CLASSES are complimentary for PVAC members.  Classic Mat classes stay true to the original sequencing, pacing, and breathing of the classical Pilates Method. Pilates-based conditioning classes teach a hybrid Pilates/Core class.            

 

REFORMER-CIRCUIT CLASSES of 5 students allow for individual attention along with camaraderie and motivation.   These classes work wonderfully in 3 ways: Pilates, cardio and strength-training. It combines  intervals of cardio segments with Pilates or Fitness conditioning segments. It's fun, tough, and delivers the best results for a lean strong body. Once you feel competent in your Pilates routines, you may sign up for ongoing classes. Drop-ins welcome, space providing.


PILATES 101

This 8 lesson, 4-week, beginner workshop familiarizes you with the basic Pilates routines, gets you comfortable with the equipment, and begins to teach you how Pilates uniquely addresses your fitness needs. Sign up for 2 dedicated lessons a week for 4 weeks, and then get cleared to work out on your own afterward, and/or keep attending group lessons.
